Here is Marshall Tyagi in a converation with GOGO Magazine.

1) When did your journey as a musician begin?

My Journey Begun early, during highschool. At School week singing competitions. Got into a band during College, then reality show & now a full-time indie Artist.

2) Why did you quit your job?

It was an easy decision but a hard step. Could say I was naive enough not to realise that I was hating every moment in it but still doing it. Finally, it all erupted one day and I felt free like never before.

3) Which was your first song?

First Song is called ‘Hit by the Gravity’ inspired and dedicated towards LGBT rights & awareness. But technically a song called ‘Mistakes’ was the first one. We launched it during my band time.

4) Which has been your most memorable live performance?

There are many but my live show at UIT has been the most memorable one. Closed the show for Papon Da & had crazy mad people.

5) Who has been your inspiration?

Chester Bennington.

6) Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

Haha, this question reminds me of my days in the day Job. Well, definitely not stuck at the same level, probably touring different cities, doing much bigger shows!

7) Which is your most preferred genre?

Electronic Experimental. Its gives me space to try out anything. Love it!

8) Tell us about your latest track.

Well, the latest one is called ‘Sadiyon Mey’ and it will be out by 25th January. It is a chill vibe happy song, reminds me of the carefree glorious childhood most of us had. Nostalgia of the innocent things and true love, true hate, true smiles, true sadness, basically how everything was so simple and true. ‘Too Far Darling’ was the latest track.

9) Tell us about the music scenes in Dehradun.

Our city is the deal! Full of so so many talented people, Once you enter Doon you’ll instantly notice it in the air, that this city belongs to the mad creative geniuses, not only in music but in all things.

10) How was life in quarantine?

Uuuh, so damn hard & lonely. Hated it, but it made me an addict to be super productive. It was like getting stuck in a coaching centre basically.
