WHEN I SAY I’M A WRITER

When I say I’m a writer, I write sometimes,
That doesn’t mean I’m a sadist,
And will turn each thing around into metaphors,
Rather I will write you immortal on my pages.

When I say I write sometimes,
That doesn’t mean I only note about departed things,
But I will turn perished one’s into life again.
I’ll snip my flesh,
And bleed poetry on paper till my last drop.

When I say I write sometimes,
It doesn’t mean I’ll only comfort you with my sugar-coated words,
But I’ll give you home inside my heart,
I’ll shelter& protect you till death.
And whenever you’ll feel unwanted,
I’ll change you into work of art- Expensive yet priceless.

When I say I write sometimes,
I’ll pretend like hate isn’t there when it really is,
Also will always convey love as it’s conquerer,
I always dream of a world without war & hate.

When I say I write sometimes,
It doesn’t means I am as perfect as my poems,
I possess flaws too just like you,
And want you to embrace them and accept every inch of me the best and the worst.

When I say I write sometimes,
I’ll prove myself every time,
Even when my writings get destroyed,
My pages get burned,
When all my hard work will get nil,
Well for me that is okay too,
Cause it’s when my imagination will know no boundaries,
When I will be the creator and the destroyer,
The starter and the finisher,
The poetry and the poet!
