1) How many days did it take you to Compose the “Bomb Figure” Song?
VERTEX9 – Actually, It depends upon the mood of the artist. Sometimes a single composition takes 3 hours max or in some cases takes a few days. It totally depends upon the artist’s mood. Bomb Figure took 3 days to finish the song properly with different melodies.
2) What do you think about commercial party songs in the music industry? How big is it?
VERTEX9- Currently in the Indian music industry, commercial party song artists are very few. When you see the global international music market, there are lots of artist rappers doing only party songs and creating a huge impact on the happy moments of people as they play party songs and celebrate their weddings, success in clubs, birthday parties, etc.
See humans have different emotions like Sad, Happy, Dippress, Motivated, Angry, Sexual, etc. For all these emotions music is there.
Music is the supreme force of the universe that creates a huge impact in healing people’s life whether the individual is in a happy mood or in a sad mood. Healing is there with the music.
So every type of music is very important for civilization.
3.) Why is commercial hip hop influence less in India than Hard core hip-hop?
VERTEX9- Hardcore hip hop came into momentum after the movie Gully Boy. Now everyone wants to become DIVINE, Emiway and they subconsciously copy their style. Hard hip-hop is motivational and full of swag. I love it and I also do.
People want to dance, and people love commercial party songs but hardcore rappers hate it. I don’t know why. Hardcore hip-hop and commercial hip-hop are both two sides of the same coin because both are different like human emotion.
So hardcore hip-hop rappers in India should understand that composing commercial party songs is not easy stuff.
4.) What are your future plans?
VERTEX9 – I am totally working my ass off every day making new music, and understanding life. Loving my parents and brother.
Many songs are there, boogie down, pappi etc. From Now I will first release the song on Spotify then the next day music video will be released.
5) How much do you charge for performing live events/shows?
VERTEX9 – To be honest, market prices change every year. Right now I charge a small amount of
50k ($ 650) for 3 hours including GST and travelling expenses. These fees are very minimum, big artists in India charging
30 lac for 2 hours show /concert. I believe that a day will also come when I will perform in front of 1 million people.
6) Who is your inspiration?
VERTEX9 – My father and mother are a big source of inspiration. I am grateful that I have them in my life, Without them VERTEX9 is nothing.
7) What is V9 Clothing?
VERTEX9 – V9 is my clothing brand. I am about to launch it on my website. Official merchandise and different designer
clothing will be there for men and women.
