Pranshul Deva is a drummer in the The Insync Maniacs band. He also works as a producer/EDM artist in Adagio. He is currently studying at Chitkara University, Chandigarh.
Here is Pranshul Deva in a conversation with GOGO Magazine.
1) When did your journey as a musician begin?
Well, my journey as a musician began in 2009 when I was in 7th/8th standard. For the first time ever, my school Delhi Public School, Chandigarh organized an inter-school battle of bands the same year where I was sitting in the audience. That moment, I gave a thought that why I cannot be one of them on the stage and amuse the audience to my music and my music production journey of my alias “Adagio” began in 2014 after listening to my first electronic dance music track “Martin Garrix – Animals”.
2) Which was your first song?
Well I began my Adagio’s music production journey back in 2014 but every producer’s early tracks sound awful in terms of technicalities xD
Hence, I’d talk about my last music release which was the remix of Spectre by Alan Walker.
3) Which has been your most memorable live performance?
My most memorable live performance was on my birthday 18 November 2018 in Thapar University’s Battle of Bands where we ended up winning the competition.
4) How do you manage investment for your music productions?
I somehow manage my investment through some graphic design and digital marketing projects and then drive the earnings into my music gear.
5) Who has been your inspiration?
I started my music ever since I listened to one of the bands performing What I’ve Done by Linkin Park in that same battle of bands my school organised in 2009 and for music production I consider Kshmr and Dyro as two of my greatest inspirations.
6) Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years?
Well, I see myself as a successful artist living my dreams in the next 10 years.
7) Tell us about your latest track.

8) Which is your most preferred genre?
Talking about bands I prefer listening to Indie, Alternative, Metal and Hard Rock and in EDM, I prefer listening to Progressive House, Electro House, Trap and Chillstep.
9) How was life in quarantine?
My life in quarantine has been all about learning new things. I have been practicing and trying to improve my skills and hence, I could say that my quarantine has been very productive.
