CAN’T BE A BLIND FOLLOWER, I’D RATHER BE A BELIEVER THAT WE DESERVE BETTER!

Why does one follow someone? Personality, ideas, beliefs, you relate often! But the bigger picture is about the solemn purpose, the greater cause for which the personality finds an existence & is with all the might following the way you think you must trudge on, contributing every bit every second to bring realization to the goal through an extolled impact on millions.

So, what if the leader deviates from the path, his priorities change slowly, he still wants to achieve the same goal but with different means which are sporadically just and often vicious. Now it’s pretty humane to get perturbed by such abandonment of trust, to feel infuriated & finding reasons to become suspicious of everything that talks of change. It’s pretty humane to forgive & hope for better times too, but sometimes when there becomes a cult of something superior, a canopy of blindness takes every flaw as a part of the emancipating pull, imbecility becomes a simulacrum of rationality, treason replaces reason, dissent ensconces demons, and uniformity equates unity!

Now a thinking human must realize at the spur of the moment that those thoughts, ideas even the path are getting faded in the name of loyalty to the master by citing the ultimate destination of those whose are destined to stay together and do everything with an obsequiousness without questioning, where’s the reason why she started following?. If means aren’t fair how come the ends will be served fairly with a conglomeration of bits of sleight& support from many?

If you yourself are truer to some “cause” you have to stay firm with a firmer conviction to choose morality over the feasibility, if goodness is left to fall freely like a grain of sand, it becomes too late sometimes to pull things together! If you are truer to that cause, you must shed your reticence off and guide your master, make her realize how has she shifted from bringing a change
to becoming a change which itself needs another change. If the master finds this reason enough to keep the flock together and a sine qua non, then the unwanted tapestry can be avoided. But if all your efforts go into vain, you should keep trying because you are a part of life, along with living you should strive to make it better with whatever you have got. You need to separate yourself from the master. You will do well without being blind.

Recently I had an encounter with a friend, who is an intellectual person, he reads & dances with life, a frenzy hedonist is a description that comes to my mind of him, he isn’t a Hindutva fanatic as such but a great supporter of strongmen, our time is about strong men from Trump to Bolsnaro, a personality considered as capable of doing everything. Now he’s so taken into the faith that any reason can’t silence his pounding for the man, even if lives are lost, livelihoods are in doldrums, two times meals have become a dream, freedom of expression is jettisoned by calling it out as nefarious as abusing the motherland.

Now it isn’t my ideology that I am saying this, it’s conspicuous, it’s right there in front of your eyes, but you aren’t able to see this or your vision is masqueraded as something justifying such vilification of a particular section of the society then this is the high time when you need to get your vision checked or take a great leap backward when you were rational and thought of a reason to back your claims. When someone becomes a follower of embellished alacrity for serving with any ridiculed approach, she forgets herself in doing so.

Be a follower, some great men lived & left to live forever in the dreams, hopes, strengths, the inspiration of millions but somewhere true leaders make leaders out of followers. So decide yourself, at some point of time, you must lead if not masses then what about
leading yourself by realizing the difference between right & wrong, when to blend conscience with consciousness to get up like never before with a covenant that in future if you fail, you have to come back to comply with even a rudimentary fall, to rise higher.

Now in simpler terms, adopt a balanced thought process of condoning & condemning too, don’t get carried away with anything that is relatable to you, what if it isn’t & fabricated to be like one?

Be brave to accept than in the name of Bhakti thrive to understand anything that your ideology does! I hope my friend gets well soon.
