Sara Arfeen Khan was born on 8th November 1985 is an Indian actress and television host. She is best known for her role as Alka Tiwari in STAR One’s hit serial Dhoondh Legi Manzil’ Humein and host in ‘Kahi Suni’ hit travel show of epic channel and Love Ka Hai Intezaar as Maharani Vijayalakshmi Ranawat. She is a successful actress and a Women Empowerment coach. She has worked in a few films like Total Siyappa and Payback.
Here is Sara Arfeen Khan in a conversation with GOGO Magazine.
1) How did your journey begin?
My journey began as a life coach to the teens. I used to hold seminars at a very very young age in schools and colleges, inspiring the youth and training them on stress management and other life skills that our education system does not teach. My training programs include coaching for teachers and parents as well because the main pressure would come from the teachers and parents comparing & judging their adolescents based on the marks they scored.
2) Who has been your inspiration?
My inspiration has always been Arfeen Khan who I always looked up to and who now is my husband.
3) Which was your first break?
I debuted in a very interesting show where I was the protagonist for Star one named ‘Dhoond Legi Manzil Humein’.
4) What makes the right script for you?
For me, the script has to obviously have an interesting story or a message. I do not believe in women being portrayed as sex objects to sell the film or a show.
5) How was your experience in Fear Files?
Being a horror fanatic myself, I absolutely loved the experience in fear files. Borrow scripts challenge you as an actor and give you more to play with your character.

6) Tell us about your most memorable moment in the industry.
My most memorable moment in the industry was when I was shooting for Total Siyapaa film and we were shooting the dining table scene with Kirin Kherji, Yami Gautam and Ali Zafar and I had to play footie with Ali Zafar and I had to take off his shoe lease with my toes and I did it in on go! The entire unit & cast were impressed and made such crazy jokes about it. And the other memorable moment or rather moments were when I was shooting for a series Love Ka Hai Intazaar where I and Soni Razdan used to take out time from our busy shoot schedule every day from the sets in Karjat, run in the garden to cherish our tea & Samosa time. Those were the simple pleasures of life that we cherished.
7) Who has been your favorite co-star?
My favourite co-star has been Soni Razdan and Ravi Dubey.
8) What do you like apart from acting and modelling?
I’m already doing what I love to do, aside from acting to modelling. I paint and I paint a lot, I’ve been a lot lately. I just did a charity event on my painting. Apart from it, I am a life coach for women. I’ve written a book, “I am worth it”, which is available on Amazon e-book and also am a TEDx speaker. Right now, I am a little distracted with my motherhood so I have been concentrating more on my babies and travel. So, I am travelling with them but apart from them, I am doing everything I love doing.
