Leaving home, as it is..

He left ..
The family..
The beloved..
They remained silent with a broken heart that nobody could heal. The tears as silent as the sigh that goes unsaid, the last goodbye buried in the trembling lips. The body remains as it is and the soul somehow leaves with the person.
He left saying,he is not ready to go. With a forced smile and scared eyes. He was my father. It broke me from within and something still seems incomplete.
He left saying, I hate you, with a smile that tells he was going to meet his real love. He was my boyfriend. I was in love but it was all a betrayal.
He left saying, he will be back soon, with trembling lips he left. He is my brother. I miss him. But, why does it feel like he won’t be back.
They left without saying a final goodbye.
And I am still in the illusion of their being.
When will this feeling stop? I ask.
But, will it ever?
It will grow and sink deep in your skin. Crawling wild awake in your soul.
He left me suffering all alone
