“You have grown up from a young child to a beautiful woman. You even remember me”, Henry’s dad jokingly asked.
Bella smiled and greeted him. She was way too shy in front of people. But with Henry she could talk endlessly.
She wanted to ask him a lot of questions. After having a formal meet and greet, they got up and walked to the garden.
Both of them knew very less but well enough about each other.
” Umm, so… May I ask you why you didn’t ever tried to contact me in all these years”, asked Henry.
” You know everything that happened back then with Ella and me. Now this question should come in my mind too. You too haven’t ever once asked my well being.” Bella replied.
“And in all these years I only thought about us”, holding her hand into his, he sat down on the knee.
“Bella, I tried very hard to forget you because I thought you might not have such feelings for me. But I couldn’t. I am asking you right now what I feel. Will you like to spend the rest of your life with me?” He asked Bella the question for which her answer was always YES.
Their parents came out and they were not surprised at all. As if it was all planned.
Bella could not resist herself and bowed down to kiss him.
“Yes, I want to spend my entire life with you.” She replied.
Their parents exchanged hugs and walked towards both of them.
” So, I think venue and date should be decided by Bella only”. Said Paul.
“Let’s get married soon.” She replied and they burst into laughter.
