Q. What does your artwork represent?
My artwork represents something out of the ordinary. It challenges your typical perception of what you hear when you tell someone you’re an artist.
Q. What inspires you?
Music is what inspires me the most. I love deciphering lyrics and finding deeper meanings within a song. I like to think you can do the same with painting. The artist Kurt Cobain, former lead guitarist and frontman for the band Nirvana, has helped me further myself as an artist.
Q. What does your art mean to you?
My art means more than just painting to me. I create to make my imagination and thoughts come to life. I create to express emotions. I create to take a step out of reality.
