TOP 5 MONUMENTS FOR PHOTOGRAPHY IN NEW DELHI – @lavishchandra

1) Qutub Minar

“A trip to the capital city of Delhi is incomplete without visiting some of its most iconic monuments, including the Qutub Minar. It is the world’s largest brick minaret and is a perfect spot for photography lovers as it gives a different look from every angle.”

2) Humanyun’s Tomb

“The spectacular blend of Mughal and Indian architecture makes you wonder that is it a tomb or a palace. It is the architectural marvel in the heart of Delhi and the perfect spot to try symmetry and leading lines composition.”

3) Safdarjung Tomb

“The sandstone and marble mausoleum is a lesser-known architectural marvel in Delhi. It is the last monumental tomb garden of the Mughals, was planned and built like an enclosed garden tomb in line with the style of the Humayun’s Tomb.”

4) Jama Masjid

“This great mosque of Old Delhi is the largest in India, with a courtyard capable of holding 25,000 devotees. This holy and divine place offers some great angles for photography.”

5) India Gate

“The India Gate is a war memorial located astride the Rajpath, on the eastern edge of the “ceremonial axis” of New Delhi. It is an archway standing a tribute to the brave soldiers and is really a good place for photography and picnics.”
