Thailand’s Royal Thai Army is putting in a request for 600 military trucks with Tata Motors. The Royal Thai Army is finishing its acquisition of more than 600 Tata LPTA military trucks, Chutintorn Sam Gongsakdi, Ambassador of Thailand to India, mentioned.
He also said that the TATA LPTA military trucks are rugged and easy to maintain, and are fit for the purpose of serving the nation.

When the lockdown started, PM Modi told the citizens about the concept of “Vocal for local” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat” and asked the countrymen to choose and support the local workers and manufacturers. What he also meant was that products be made competitive with regard to global brands.
Tata Motors was founded in 1886 and is a leading global automobile manufacturing company. Its portfolio includes a range of cars, sports utility vehicles, trucks, buses and defence vehicles. Tata Motors’s product line-up includes mine-protected vehicles, armoured buses, bullet-proof troop carriers, mobile hospital, water bowser and even unmanned aerial vehicle launchers, among several other things.
With many companies shifting their base from China to India due to the Covid-19 outbreak, and being vocal for local to make Atmanirbhar Bharat, the country may find a solution to the falling economy.
