Qaab is an Indian Rapper, Songwriter, and Multi-genre Music producer born in New Delhi. He knows how to Rep ‘Dilli’ to the fullest, he is known for his unique melodies on his songs and luckily finds a way to delivering better music than his last, He doesn’t disappoint easily.
Here is Qaab in a conversation with GOGO Magazine,
1) When did your journey as a musician begin?
It goes back to the late 2014s, first started off with figuring out writing lyrics and putting together a song then I got stuck to it and later on I started producing music too.
2) Tell us more about repping “Dilli” to the fullest.
I was born here in Delhi, I feel like I belong to this place this is my home no matter wherever dilli people go we move different and I like being blunt and keeping it one hundred about it be it in my songs or In real life, I know we repping our city.
3) Which has been your first track?
I took it down off YouTube, It has some sample clearance issue with a major label.
4) Who has been your inspiration?
There are many I mean I won’t be able to name everyone that has inspired me don’t wanna fill the whole page lol, but yeah I can tell that music that came out in the late 2000s and early 2010s had a huge impact on me be it from the west or in here I used to bump Lil Wayne a lot and he is to date my fav artist, even Indian music was coming out dope at that point of time.
5) Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I really don’t know, but it would be great to see having multiple Albums under my discography in different styles and genres of music and hopefully, some good international collaborations let’s see what the universe is planning for me.

8)What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
Be yourself and never take a step back from experimenting with your sound.

Made it to BBC Asian network top 30s chart.

10)How was life in quarantine?
Life in quarantine was both good and chaotic, but yeah it taught many things, now I don’t look at life the same way as I used to before the pandemic, Quarantine was an eye-opener I would say and I gained a few pounds stuck at home lol.
