Peer pressure has been a term very much known to all, peer pressure can be said as an influence of your friends upon you which makes you do a particular type of thing depending on the crowd and not thinking about it yourself.

You might not like a particular kind of movie but watching it because all your friends are being what we can call an example of peer pressure.

Peer pressure can be okay till it doesn’t harm the person, when you do something after knowing it is harmful or bad just because you saw your friends doing it and asking you to do the same can take a bad turn. There have been a lot of cases where peer pressure has turned into an ugly part of a person’s life.

It is important to always have your own say, that won’t make you move out of a circle of friends but doing something just for the sake of your friends doing it won’t make them love you but it is more like following a crowd for having a space of your own.

When you will stop reacting to peer pressure and do what you want to do there will be more respect and love for you. Friends are meant to help you climb the ladder of success and not stop you from it by letting you do things that are wrong.

Teenagers are more to go through peer pressure as at this age as teenagers we are more into experimental things and there is an influence of our friends in our lives.

One thing that we need to realize about it is as it can have negative effects it can also have a positive effect if your friends influence you to do something good.

That is the place where it is the decision making time where you need to choose the friends who actually help you in a positive manner rather than choosing those who will only influence you to do something bad in life.
