Ketan Mohite is a Singer/Songwriter who hails from Mumbai for the past few years and have been working on his indie music with artists like Gino Banks, Darshan Doshi, Nyzel D’lima, Rajeev Prasanna, Rhythm Shaw, and many more. Have released 2 single Main Kaun hoon followed by Raahein (nature and travel song) and getting a good response and support. Recently released Tera Intezaar 3rd single on 24th September, it includes indie artist and featuring Bubby Lewis on bass from Snoop Dogg band and Indian artist too. This song is an Alternative Indie Rock song, at present, the lyrical video is out.
Here is Ketan Mohite in a conversation with GOGO Magazine.
1) When did your journey as a musician begin?
My passion for music started at an early age listening to indie pop back in the 90’s. My Mom Dad use to play cassettes of Mohammed Rafi to Talat Mahmood.Then one day my cousin brother played ” It’s my life – Bonjovi” and then started listening to more music, serious music started in 2013.
2) Which was your first song?
” Main Kaun Hoon” my first Debut single features amazing musician, the song is about your identity.

3) Which has been your most memorable live performance?
Back in 2016 had performed at Shanmukhananda Hall Sion, it was an NGO event the venue was fully packed and the energy of the audience, still remember the moment.
4) Who has been your inspiration?
When I heard “O Sanam ” by Lucky Ali that took me to a different space followed by Tanha Dil by Shaan. I have been tripping on the music by Lucky Ali his songs connect.
5) What is the creative process like behind your work?
Everyone has their own way towards their song, for me, it is the time and the moment that make me write about it. It takes me time to write and rewrite the lyrics, in the end, what matters is it should touch your soul.
6) Tell us about your latest track. What was the inspiration behind it?
Tera Intezaar – It’s all about time, the wait for true love. It’s an Alternative rock song, I had started writing it back in 2018 but it was just the start and the lyrics are written by Manoj Yadav who gave it more meaning.

7) Which is your most preferred genre?
I like listening to all kind of music and at present there are so many different genre, it all depends on which zone I am in.
