A man filled with sorrow

A man filled with sorrow

I became someone I promised myself I’d never be,
I let my emotions take over me.
It’s a shame I fell so low,
A man filled with sorrow.
Made myself look like a fool,
Used every circumstance like a tool.

Now I wake up every morning wishing I could redo,
I swear that was my one last miscue.
We live and we learn,
Now to be better is all I yearn.

All I can say is your love guides me,
Showed me how to love fearlessly.
We all mistakes right?
I know I took it too far this time, I lost sight.

Saying I messed up is an understatement,
But to be the best for you is my commitment.
I never thought I could be loved this much,
I haven’t seen an angel as such.

You’ve got a way of making me better,
I can write you a billion love letters.

About The Author

Aaron Sharma

Hi! I’m Aaron, I’m from Imphal a valley in Manipur, a state in the northeastern part of India. I write because writing is like putting a puzzle together. There’s something about it that excites me, bringing words together, fitting the right pieces together to build a beautiful picture, that in itself is a journey, a journey I hope to share with all of you.
