Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM) will be launching Toyota Yaris sedan with a new limited edition variant in Indian market. The new variant will feature a host of cosmetic changes over the standard model.


On the exterior, it features smart projector headlamps that enable maximum visibility while minimizing glare. LED DRLs further enhance visual appeal. The rear combination tail lamp with LED line guide in the Yaris is completely pleasant greatness. It also offers keyless smart entry system which detects the proximity of the key in its vicinity and all 4-wheels disc brakes to control every point of the drive.

Insides of the car features waterfall design dashboard with a waterfall-like centre cluster offering a spacious and stylish place to operate from, piano black design door accents, 8-way electrically adjusted driver seats, dual rear power outlet, cruise control with paddle shift, rain-sensing wipers, rear sunshade, one-button start-stop, infotainment with gesture control and navigation, Hill-start assist control, standardised ABS, EBD and BA, vehicle stability control, reverse camera and auto headlamps

The all-new Black edition offers several new features:

It comes with first-in-segment 7-SRS airbags which covers driver plus passenger units, sides, curtain bags and knee bags. It ensures complete security for the driver as well as passengers.

The new variant offers tyre pressure monitoring system which alerts the driver when tyre pressure is not on the optimal level.

The hassle of parking your car in tight space, Yaris takes it all away by providing front and rear parking sensors.

All-new Yaris provides strategically positioned roof-mounted air vents with ambient lighting for a better font and rear air channelling.

The new Yaris provides acoustic and vibration control glass which ensures a vibration and noise free cabin.

The Yaris takes away all the dangers of using infotainment system while driving by introducing gesture control system for infotainment cluster.

The 60:40 split seat ratio of the Yaris ensures that comfort and flexibility of the space are never compromised.

The 8 way adjustable Power Driver Seat feature gives you complete control over your driving posture, that too at the tip of your fingers.

The Yaris features a 4.2 coloured TFT MID giving you all the vehicle stats and alerts effectively.

The rear combination tail lamp with LED line guide in the Yaris is completely a first-in-segment beauty.

The 7-speed automatic CVT transmission of the Yaris makes for superb encounters out and about, paying little heed to traffic conditions. Its consistent shifts make the Yaris a treat to drive, giving you complete admittance to control.


The new Yaris comes with a BS6 dual VVT-i 1.5-litre petrol engine which offers a maximum of 107ps at 6000 rpm and maximum torque of 140 Nm at 4200 rpm. The engine comes paired in two modules, 6-speed manual transmission and 7-speed super CVT-I in all variants.

It is expected to launch in September 2020 at an expected price range of Rs. 12.40 to Rs. 13.60 lakh(ex-showroom). This car will rival Hyundai Verna, Honda City, VW Vento, Skoda Rapid and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
