The German carmaker BMW has announced the launch of BMW X5 M competition on 26 November in the domestic market at a price of 1.94 crore (ex-showroom). This car is a Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) with the carmaker making big and bold claims about its performance capabilities. Like RSQ8 and Urus, it has been brought to India via the completely built-up unit (CBU) route.

The expressive front design of BMW X5 M competition comprises of high-gloss black double kidney BMW signature grille. The headlights of X5 has a unique X-design which illuminates a range up to 500m. The lower section of front profile features air intakes that widen towards the bottom.

The side profile of X5 M features large M alloy wheels in 21-inch format at front and 22-inch at rear axel with star spoke style 809 ‘ M’ bi-colour, air vents behind the front wheel, roof rails and creases which makes X5 aggressive and sporty looking SUV. The rear profile features a roof and lower tailgate spoiler, BMW signature taillights and 4 exhaust pipes.

The all new BMW X5 M Competition is offered in metallic colour options such as Marina Bay Blue, Donnington Grey, Manhattan Green, Carbon Black, Black Sapphire, Mineral White and Tornado Red.


The all-new BMW X5 M Competition includes a 12.3-inch Multifunction Display touchscreen, iDrive Touch Controller, multifunction directing wheel’s fastens, the voice control highlight alongside the discretionary BMW Gesture Control, automatic air conditioning with 4-zone climate control, full-colour heads-up display to project all the relevant information on the windshield, temperature controlled cup holders. It also includes bespoke M treatment with M controls, red accents on the M leather steering wheel’s M buttons, integrated head rests on the M seats, hands-free Comfort Access for easy loading and unloading and two separate 10.2-inch high resolution display on the rear seats. The BMW Live Cockpit Professional with route framework and the BMW Virtual Assistant is offered as standard. It additionally gets remote charging and Harman Kardon Surround Sound System.
