Saudi Arabia, officially known as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an Arab country located in Western Asia and constituting most of the Arab Peninsula. If there is a final frontier of tourism left, it’s Saudi Arabia. The birthplace and spiritual home of Islam, Saudi Arabia is rich in attractions and stirring symbolism. For Muslims, the cities of Mecca and Medina, rich in Prophetic significance, have no equal, while the carved temples of Madain Saleh, known as the second Petra, and the sophisticated rock art at Jubbah are the Kingdom’s greatest pre-Islamic treasures.
HERITAGE:
Saudi Arabia is one of two nations named for their illustrious families, alongside the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The Saudi families were sheiks of Nejd, the zone around Riyadh, yet were driven out by a neighboring line, stowing away with their family members, the emirs of Kuwait. At that point in 1902, youthful Abdulaziz Ibn Saud and his military came back to re-catch their home. As it turned out, the trespassers had been degenerate, ineffectual, and injurious, endless local people went along with them. They re-caught Riyadh as well as a significant part of the encompassing region. From that point onward, Abdulaziz set out on a 30-year mission of success. The region joined under him got known as Saudi Arabia.

No country in the world is misunderstood as the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and yet perhaps there is no other country is as worthy of a visit. Considered by many as the final frontier, Saudi Arabia boasts beautiful oases and dramatic mountaintops, seemingly endless sand dunes and flowing rivers, making it a dynamic tourist destination. The sands themselves are wondrous, especially the Empty Quarter, a beautiful expanse of undulating dunes unlike anywhere in the world. In addition to its natural beauty, It is a country rich in culture and heritage.
HOLIEST OF ALL:
Few other countries are as rich in historical sites as Saudi Arabia. As the birthplace of the Prophet Muhammad, it is home to the holiest sites in Islam: the Grand Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, drawing millions visiting both every year (although there are off-limits no to non-Muslims). The Saudis take pride in protecting the integrity of this holy land and Islamic laws are strictly enforced by the religious people.
