Q. What does your artwork represent?
My artwork represents a range of emotions, inspired by ‘cyber-Esque’, video games, and kawaii themes. I like to express the world I create in my head. my portraits aren’t always ‘human’ or ‘anatomically’ correct because of how my style has developed, they are ‘other-worldly’ rather than anatomically detailed/accurate.
Q. What inspires you?
I am widely inspired by studio ghibli and many other series. I absolutely adore animation work, such as Pixar and Tim burton. I am inspired by all artists, most art inspires me in some form, but most of my inspiration comes out on its own. as fellow artists say ‘art lives within’.
Q. What does your art mean to you?
Art can be appreciated primarily for its beauty, but my art work has a lot of emotional power too. to me, my art/craft is as easy and normal as relaxing. it is a gigantic piece of my life; displaying it online has been a huge confidence booster along with networking, making things for clients, talking about it with people or simply making it for myself. it is a piece of my entire being and has been an easy way of articulating since i started creating as a child.
