Aston Martin DBX is the first ever four-wheel drive car and the first ever off-road car built by Aston martin in its 107 year history.
DESIGN
Exterior:
The front profile of the car features the biggest ever fitted Aston martin signature grille to an Aston Martin and the biggest ever fitted Aston Martin signature badge to an Aston Martin. It features a clamshell bonnet with air vents, signature LED light blades headlamps on either side of the grille followed by the air vents surrounded by daytime running LED lights. The air vents maintain aerodynamic balance and cools the high-performance brakes.

Unlike another SUV’s the side profile of this gives a much sharp sportier look. The side design has nicely done metal creases for aggressive look and actual air vents behind front tyre for maintaining aerodynamic balance. Coming onto the rear profile it has a ducktail spoiler, a light bar across the back joining the wraparound taillights and twin exhaust.
Interior:
The inside is the most lavish conceivable, merging beauty with durability. It comes with full grain Caithness leather interior trim, alcantara headlining and panoramic roof blind, piano black wood veneer trim, satin chrome brightware.

Upfront you get a 12.3-inch screen for the instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment system in the centre of the dashboard. On top of the infotainment system you get the gear selector which is pretty far from driver seat. Other than that you get heated seats, electric adjustment of seats, frameless windows, Keyless entry, keyless start/stop, acoustic laminated side glass, illuminated vanity mirrors, sports pedals, heated rear windows, double sunvisors surround view cameras. The driving position of DBX is so well done is that it gives you SUV like good view in front yet you feel hunkered down which feels like sporty. The rear seats have loads of space like headroom, legroom and thigh support. The boot space is 632 ltr. Which is pretty good.
Performance:
It comes equipped with a-ltr twin turbo V8 producing a total of 542bhp at 6500rpm and 700Nm of peak torque at 2200-5000rpm. Aston martin claims that DBX can go 0-60mph in about 4.3 seconds and 0-100kmph in 4.5 seconds. It can reach a maximum of 181mph / 291 kmph of speed. The engine comes paired with a 9-speed automatic engine mounted gearbox which has electronic shift-by-wire control system. The car comes with 22-inch alloy wheel option only and has 6 driving modes, 4 on-road and 2 off-road.
