Here is Alessia Vernazza in a conversation with GOGO Magazine.

1) How did your journey began?

I started my acting career at the age of 8. My first performance was playing the lead in the Adaptation of HONK (Musical Comedy) at The Wimbledon Theatre, London. Then At the age of 9, I was accepted into the Royal Ballet School, and I was fortunate enough to dance on the Royal Opera House stage in productions of Cinderella (2010) and The Tales of Beatrix Potter (2012). This helped me find my way into the world of the Arts. When I was just 11 years old she auditioned for Tim Minchin’s Adaptation of “Matilda” in London’s West End and she was cast as one of the Ensemble.

2) Where and when did you get your first break?

My first break came when I was in Los Angeles I got cast as the lead in a Film called “Common Man”. Not only was it my first ever lead role in a big production but it was also my most challenging. I was playing the part of a young girl who had been secretly abused by her own brother. What made it more memorable was acting alongside one of my former Academy colleagues. Having to cry on cue came naturally to me because of the well-written script and my extensive training.

3) What are the odds in your industry as a career option and how did you face them?

I know that the Entertainment Industry is cutthroat but so is every other industry. I just stay positive and determined with everything I do. As long as your working towards your goal and focused nothing can get in your way.

4) Who has been your inspiration?

I have to say that my mother was the Inspiration for becoming an Actress. Growing up we would watch Movies together and at weekends she would take me to the Theatre to watch all the up and coming shows in London’s West End.

5) What are the pros and cons of being an actress?

The pros of being an Actress is that we can travel the world and explore new countries. We also get to explore and express our creativity with multiple roles. I don’t really see there being any cons when being an actress. Being in the public eye is something that actors need to quickly get used to and adapt to and reject well that comes with the job.

6) What according to you makes a good story?

For me what makes a good story is a few things. Their has to be conflict, tension a surprise, relatable characters, controversy a mystery and suspense with a great ending.

7) Which is your most recent film?

My most recent film was “Dead Judgement” where I played the Part of Kayla Lane.

8) How do you manage stress at work?

I always stay prepared with everything I do. Especially when it comes to learning my lines. So when I do get stressed out I just take breaks, sip some water and take a moment to relax.

9) How do you face your critics?

When it comes to critics I always take it in and then ask myself if it’s not of any value to me. If it is I use it to help better myself and if it’s not I throw it away. You’re going to get critics regardless of what you do.

10) How is life on the other side of work?

Life is great actually. Me and my boyfriend have been working on our YouTube channel. Family are all healthy and to me that’s all that matters.
