As I sit on the edge of a boulder,
Looking at the mountains covered with snow,
Wishing they were closer,
But all I can touch are their shadows.
I see trees blanketing the mountains,
The wild-looking out for each other,
All my worldly worries, they’re drowning,
They say nature is a healer, no wonder.
A stream flows so gallantly,
Through every obstacle, it flows,
Bearing all the agony,
It slowly grows.
There’s something about this uncorrupted air,
A rawness that inspires me,
Takes me somewhere far,
Far into sublimity, a place I can be free.
