Here is Himanshu Rawat in a conversation with GOGO Magazine.
1) When did your journey as a musician begin?
My musical journey begun when I was 18 years old, I started learning vocals since 2012 -13.
2) Which was your first song?
My first debut single was “Dhaage Ishq Ke” released by Sonotech music (YouTube Channel)
3) Which has been your most memorable live performance?
I remember that was in 2013 when I performed at DELHI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. There were 9 bands participating and our performance was the last, my band name was EK KHWAAB – THE BAND. Finally, we got the trophy with lots of public support, people got crazy they were shouting our name. That was the moment I told myself ”This is the thing you want Himanshu, just keep going.“
4) Who has been your inspiration?
Mostly the musicians start learning at their early age like 5 or 6 years old but I was not so lucky to learn. I started listening USTAD RAHAT FATEH ALI KHAN SAHAB, he was my inspiration In my early age of learning Music. After that more new voices like SIR ATIF ASLAM, THE GREAT ARIJIT SINGH, I got inspired by them too. I LOVE K.K. the most.
5) How was the experience working with T-series?
I have worked with T- SERIES & ZEE MUSIC COMPANY. The experience was really good they appreciate my music. My recent single “HO NA SUBAH” which is released by @zeemusiccompany LINK :
6) Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
My target is to make people love my voice, in the next 5 years I will release many blockbuster songs, some of them will definitely get a click. I just want that everyone in this country who love to listen to Hindi Music, should know who is HIMANSHU RAWAT and I know that is a very hard thing to get but not impossible I am working hard to improve, the day will come soon.
7) Which is your most preferred genre?
Semiclassical, Bollywood pop music. But I always try to create something new I love to make a fusion with two genres, like semi-classical compositions mixed with pop beats.

9) How was life in quarantine?
Things are not good as you know people are struggling for their living. This time is very hard for us.
