My name is Hege Corneliussen, I am a 35-year-old woman from Bergen, Norway. I used to enjoy drawing as a child but I didn’t draw for about 16 years until I started again 2 years ago.  I don’t have any art education, but I did join a short beginner course and apart from that I am self-taught. 
I live in Bergen with my two kids, a cat, and a dog. 
About the drawing, I prefer to draw realistically with graphite and charcoal pencils. I love the contrast of dark and white and I’m not scared to use the darkest pencils. First, when I started drawing I found photos on the internet I found interesting to practice drawing, but now I try to make my own reference photos as far as it is possible. I usually use between 2-5 reference photos for each drawing.  Except for my own projects I do commissions also. For the future I would like to do more illustrating books, continue with my own drawing projects and I would love to have drawing classes for children. I get inspiration from travels, different cultures, and nature   I enjoy drawing portraits, animals, and sometimes something completely different.
