Q. What does your artwork represent?
With my artworks, I want to depict the beauty of the natural world that surrounds us. Nature is the most recurrent theme in my art, it overwhelms us and it takes many different forms. There are many ways to talk about it and my aim is to represent the magical, pure, dream-like, and peaceful side of it. My artworks are permeated by characters like dryads, nature goddesses, forest elves, and magical creatures that inhabit enchanted forests and are merged into the environment that surrounds them.
Q. What inspires you?
Observation is definitely my biggest source of inspiration. I am constantly looking around myself in search of an idea that I can transform into art.
I like to look at nature, animals, people in the streets and appreciate things that in our busy lives sometimes we don’t have the time to contemplate. I get really inspired also observing other artists’ work, analyzing their style and creative process. That gives a great boost to my imagination and helps me to constantly learn and to grow as an artist.
Q. What does your art mean to you?
Art is an extremely powerful tool that I like to use to express myself and my imagination with no limits and it allows me to evade the stress of everyday life. In a way producing art is very therapeutic and relaxing to me and I love when I am able to convey this positive feeling to people throughout my work.
