Q. What does your artwork represent?
My art represents two styles that are completely opposite from each other i.e. Indian paintings & Popart. It also represents my passion for painting from childhood till now.
Q. What inspires you?
I love to paint as it brings joy to my life now. I love Indian paintings a lot, so this was my utmost priority to find references when I use to start a new painting. Once I thought to try a new art form and as I was searching about it, I found ANDY WARHOL’s art form ( he is a famous pop-artist). Popart was originally called propaganda art. The way pop art depicts a portrait using many colors is like it revives the artwork. The most popular pop art made by him was of Marilyn Monroe. At that time I decided to recreate it & after recreating it, it gave me a great response from the viewers, and soon it was commissioned by a well-known actress for her living room. From that day I got encouraged to create some more pop art. Still, I am in a progress to find a new artform and soon I will try to have my hands on it also.
Q. What does your artwork mean to you?
Art to me is like therapy & mine leisure time. Due to higher studies i was totally in cut with my art because of the busy schedule of college, exams & assignments. After 5 years again i started painting & my first painting was on mini canvas of a sky filled with stars. After this i found what i was missing in my life was my passion towards art that needs to be polished and let it come into the lime light.
