Mussoorie is one of the most well-known hill stations situated in the Dehradun region of Uttarakhand, India. With a setting of the Shivalik range of Himalayas and doon valley, Mussoorie, otherwise called Queen of The Hills, remains at an elevation of 7000 feet above ocean level and has a cool, wonderful atmosphere consistently. Once the British summer capital, Mussoorie is a famous escape for honeymooners and families.

Its name is derived from a bush locally called Mansoor behind the place of the Captain.
