Q. What does your artwork represent?

My artwork represents healing, boldness, and energy. Colors are vibrant, movement is flowing and present and I hope it shows how my brush works the paint onto and around the canvas. There are many techniques I use that are controlled but there are always lots of abstract bursts mixed in, representing controlled chaos, just like life. I’ve been using fluorescent acrylics these past 6 months and it allowed me to represent 2 images on one canvas under different lighting conditions, The duality and light and dark themes manifested onto a canvas in a visual form.
I’m exploring new ideas, hidden themes, and ways to put themes and ways to put them into use. My mind has always been very mathematical from a very early age, I love patterns and chaos theory. The fact that art is beautiful and chaotic at the same time and that everyone views them differently is such an amazing thing. We all have eyes no matter what the boundaries maybe, physically or emotionally. I really hope it evokes emotion in all forms and inspires.

Q. What inspires you?

Life inspires me. Animals, people, nature, colors, movement, energy, and the universe. The cycle of life is fascinating and the duality of everything. Life and death and light and dark. These are the questions that keep my mind thinking and have always kept my passion for learning and creating alive and moving forward.

Q. What does your art mean to you?

It means everything. It’s simply healing and happiness on canvas. When I’m in the zone and painting, it’s a world of limitless potential and imagination. It makes me a better person, a better friend, and a better father. It calms my mind and I’m just not myself without it.
