Q. What does your artwork represent?
The drama of the outdoors – I’m lucky enough to live in an incredible place where the mountains and ocean collide with impressive effects.
Q. What inspires you?
I’m inspired equally by the dramatic landscape that surrounds me, and by other artists’ depictions of it. I find I connect with both of these sources of inspiration and am just so excited to get my paint onto canvas.
Q. What does your art mean to you?
Art is a creative challenge, and an illusion, that I absolutely love – how do you create the impression of a 3 dimensional place in 2 dimensions. A challenge as old as the hills.
