Q. What does your artwork represent?
I always look at my art as sth that brings me joy. I don’t want to overthink what I paint. I just go with the flow and paint whatever I like. Sometimes it’s a portrait of celebrities, sometimes a mini landscape, and sometimes some movie scene. Right now I’m focusing on developing my skills, I think I’m not ready yet o tell my stories to the world. But I’m working on that :))
Q. What inspires you?
Definitely other works of art. And by that, I don’t mean copying another painting. Artists around the world are making so many beautiful things: songs, videos, movies, music videos, drawings, photos, etc. Very often I see some beautiful scene or performance I immediately want to capture its beauty with my paints. I want to analyze, rewatch, remember it
By painting, I can experience them one more time. I also love to paint mini landscapes. I admire architecture, especially history, that’s why it’s the main subject in my mini canvas paintings.
Q. What does your art mean to you?
Painting was always my way to escape from sad reality. Every time I wanted to unwind I took my brush and paint. Right now it also helps me with dealing with my problems. When I paint there’s nothing more than me and my easel. I can spend hours listening to good music and creating. Sometimes I wish that my whole life would look like this.
