Chadwick Boseman alias KingT’Challa or The Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe died on Friday of cancer at the age of 43. The actor was struggling with the disease for the past four years since he got diagnosed with stage three colon cancer in 2016.

Chadwick Boseman had his first starring role in the 2013 film 42, in which he portrayed baseball pioneer and star Jackie Robinson. He was first seen in MCU in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War.

A lot of people were shocked to hear the news and social media was filled with prayers for the guy and his family.

As the king of Wakanda he’s heard saying that “In my culture, death is not the end. it’s more of a stepping off point. You reach out with both hands and Bast and Sekhmet, they lead you into a green veld where, you can run forever.”

Hope you’re running peacefully up there!
RIP King!
