1) How did your journey begin?
My journey began in my sophomore year of high school. I decided that I wanted to try tv/film acting. I started by taking small/extra roles in films at UNCSA. I then progressed to being in extra roles on big networks. After getting more serious, I started taking acting classes. After I began training, I started auditioning and booking featured roles in huge shows and movies.

2) Where and when did you get your first break?
I got my first break when I booked a Nickelodeon musical series.

3) What are the odds in your industry as a career option and how did you face them?
Tv/film acting is a hard career but I am going to pursue it throughout college and hopefully for the rest of my life. I try to take the rejections as lessons on becoming a better and more successful actress.

4) Who has been your inspiration?
My sister is my #1 inspiration. Her name is Brianna, she has Cerebral Palsy and is in a wheelchair. She inspires me every day because she is so hard-working and is unbelievably kind. I aspire to be just as hard-working and kind as she is.

5) What are the pros and cons of being an actress?
A pro is constantly being surrounded by other people that have the same passion and dream as you. A con is having to turn your whole life upside-down in order to do certain projects *like not being able to live at home or see friends*.

6) What according to you makes a good story?
I think creating a story with lots of levels in the plot and at least one emotionally vulnerable character is key to making a good story. I also think that creating suspense and drama makes a story even better.
7) Which is your most recent film?
My most recent film is “The Creature” where I play the lead role of Jenna Kingsley.

8) How do you manage stress at work?
I manage stress by talking about it with my therapist or by texting my friends. I make sure to keep good relationships with people outside of work so that I can occasionally have a little break from the work stress.

9) How do you face your critics?
I face my critics by taking their words as an essential part of my personal growth.

10) How is life on the other side of work?
It’s great! I have a job and whenever I am not working or filming, I spend time with my friends, family, and pets.
