My inspiration as an artist has been my conviction that modern art is fuelled by a combination of colors and forms.
“I’m really process-driven. The work that I make isn’t planned, generally—it comes out of itself. My creations are driven formally by colors interacting and layering of shapes, so it’s very organic”.
Q. What does your artwork represent?
I create to make emotional clay impressions of the things I see in my life. My work, whether it’s landscapes, abstracts, animals florals is to celebrate the richness of life. When people see my work, I’d like them to feel that moment of shared emotion and experience.
I’m a seeker, gatherer of beautiful moments in this wonderful world!
Q. What inspires you?
Someone once described me ” as a girl with vibrant colors”
Raised by ” nature and cool breezes”, I take my delight in the scenery of birds, bees, and flowers in their multi-colored palette. I paint the world in unlikely colors, meant to inspire a sense of discovery and joy. As an artist/Textile designer, I love expressing creativity on a variety of mediums such as Furniture, Walls, Fabrics, paper, letting the fluidity of my colorful thoughts and visions guide me.
Q. What does your art mean to you?
Every part of what I create is a journey of self- discovery, and self- expression. I have always wondered what makes someone buy a piece of art to hang on their wall and look at it every day for years to end. And, trying to answer that question helps me create and sharpen my vision.
